Ok, this is my first entry...... so I'll talk a little about myself. I'm female, 15 and I live in the Uk. I first got into japanese culture when 12. I went to my first convention this year, I don't think I've ever been so happy in my life ^.^ My favorite places are Glasonbury town and Camden. I love Gothic fashion especialy gothic lolita.

This October I'm going to Japan for two weeks on exchange O.o and I'm going to Harajuku for a shopping trip, Oh yhea!!!!

I have been to: Germany, France, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Mallorca, Italy and India

how do you get so good??? i really want to make my own but I can't sew and if I'm gonna start a costume I'm gonna have to do it now coz its my exam year, otherwize i'll buy one when i'm in japan next month

(I'm sry for the long delay >___>;)
I'm no professional dress maker and I barely work with patterns. Most of the time I'm trying to sew the fabric around my body so that it looks like the original. I do have a sewing machine, it's not necessary but saves you a lot of time^^
I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my cosplays. I watch out for visible seams and loose threads, crinkles; trying to keep my costume neat.
And what is essential to me: the right (and styled) wig - I think that makes a huge difference and has quite an effect.
